Auctions of note for November 8th, 2006:
Some juicy bits available for your collecting pleasure this week. :) Don't forget to send your wish lists to your beloved family members. The holidays hath arrived!
(On an unrelated aside, in an effort to make the world a better browsing experience, I want to encourage everyone to pop by www.mozilla.org and download the new Firefox 2.0. Serious Goodness. The spell check feature alone will probably improve the quality of my posts. Well, the spelling anyway.)
I've actually got several used CoCo 2s in my watch list. Great prices and shipping and it never hurts to have a spare. Probably won't buy (have to many of 'em as it is), but if you're looking, look now.
Also a lot of stuff posted right now with absolutely ridiculous shipping/handling. Watch out.
The Interbank Incident - Graphic Adventure - Tandy CoCo
A Good to Very Good copy of the Interbank Incident. I really need to get around to firing this game up again. Loved it back in the ol' days.
Tom Mix Wildwest CoCo Color Computer *NR* *5-Day*
Coco Newsroom for Color Computer 3 *NR* *5-Day*
In what I've started referring to as The Shark Auctions (sharkonwheels) :) comes another couple of super, mind bending rarities. Both of these would be worthy of any CoCo software collection. And the seller is one of the best, so don't hesitate to go nuts. :D
Tandy Color Computer 2 TRS-80
This one might not get much attention, but it's worth a look. It's a mid to later model CoCo 2 (26-3126 or later), judging by the keyboard and manuals, and appears pretty complete. The seller also mentions it's working. From the photos I'd rate it at least a Very Good. Questions to ask are Catalog Number and Shipping (which is via UPS and can either be reasonable, or horribly expensive).
Tandy Color Computer 3 Games - Rampage & Mind Roll
Relisted. Couple of CoCo 3 games in a presentable condition.
There's plenty of usable stuff in there, too. It's a good time to grab some! Like I said, some of the CoCo 2s listed are worth a look alone, even if you just need a spare.
Last year about this time the quantity and quality of the auctions continued to ramp up right until the week before Christmas. All sorts of goodies were popping up like crazy. Then it died and stayed dead until about Valentines day. If those rare ones pop up, might be a good idea to snag 'em now. And to sellers: being in retail myself, I'll remind that after the holidays, there's plenty of people with gift certificates and extra cash for "after holiday" sales. Wouldn't hurt to post a few items during that time.
Happy bidding!
Angel's Luck,
Capt

Hi Captcpu and Rodder,
I agree, Wildwest for the coco 3, is quite a rare game, I'd doubt if it has come up on ebay more than 2 times in the last few years, if it has even come up. since Ebay started.
