12/31/07 Auctions of Note

Auctions of note for January 31st, 2007:

Now we're seeing some action. :) Some competitive bidding the last couple of days, so wade in if you're eager. The items up for bid are great and there's some nice rarities in there.

eBay: TRS-80 ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE PROGRAMMING BY L. A. TEPIT (item 300076840401 end time Feb-07-07 18:58:15 PST)

A very rare assembly language programming book. The condition indicated is heavily used, but it looks decent from the photo. And really, this one is probably worth grabbing in any condition. Alas, not owning it, I couldn't tell you what's in it.

eBay: TRS-80 EXTENDED BASIC UNRAVELLED FOR CO CO ... (item 300076826724 end time Feb-07-07 18:03:33 PST)

Another rare one, this one covers the original CoCo 1/2 with Extended Color BASIC. All the inside secrets of the BASIC for your perusing pleasure. Appears to be worn, but who knows when it'll come up again.

eBay: TRS-80 Multi-Card Interface (item 110086361436 end time Feb-04-07 19:52:23 PST)

A heavily yellowed and/or dirty MPI. An MPI is an MPI, though, so if you need one, it might clean up nice. Might also be suitable to gut it for a mod or repak.

eBay: Tandy TRS-80 Direct Connect 300bps Modem - UNUSED! (item 110086358425 end time Feb-04-07 19:39:58 PST)

A nice, still in the box, Direct Connect Modem. Unfortunately, no manual.

eBay: Speech/Sound Cartridge for the Color Computer (item 260082018543 end time Feb-06-07 19:35:30 PST)

Interest in this pak is picking up again. This one is in good enough condition for both the user and the collector. Really, I can't image my CoCo without it now. heh.

eBay: Orchestra-90 CC for the Color Computer (item 260082018338 end time Feb-06-07 19:34:45 PST)

A complete Orchestra 90cc in the box with manual and inserts. Might also see a little interest in this one as well. Puts on some pretty decent sound.

eBay: Lot of 16 TRS-80 Tandy Color Computer Games in CASE NR (item 120081594469 end time Feb-06-07 18:44:40 PST)

Big load of paks with the Pak File case. The case alone is rare enough to have a looksee.

eBay: Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer 2 w/BOX (item 200074042170 end time Feb-06-07 18:30:00 PST)

Here's what appears to be a complete Color BASIC, 16K, 26-3026, the first CoCo 2! :) Unfortunately, the seller doesn't list the cat no, or specifics, so be sure to inquire before bidding. (I'm basing my assumption on the low-profile keyboard, the Color BASIC manual, which would be a 26-3026 which was out of the factory at 16K. Could be a a 26-3027, the Extended BASIC model, of course. And could have been upgraded to 64K, potentially. The final option is an early 26-3127, which was 64K with Extended Color BASIC, but sans the ECB manual, probably not. To me knowledge, those were the only three units sporting the low profile keyboard.)

There have been some interesting sales of late, so I'll try to get a price guide update done soon. :)

Angel's Luck,

Capt.
