8/5/06 Auctions of Note

Auctions of note for August 5th, 2006:

Just a few items grabbing attention at the moment, but worth listing. I should also note that in the TRS-80 listings on eBay, there are several CoCo 2s showing at much more reasonable prices. While I haven't seen a particularly collectible machine, all would be good work horses, or perhaps a restoration or mod project.

It occurs to me, also, that I've never posted the link to the TRS-80 listings... Most readers probably won't need it, but for completeness I'll try to add it to the sidebar.

Vintage Computing Products > TRS-80 (sorted All Active, Newest Listed)

Disk Drive Watch:

2 TRS-80 Color Computer Mini Floppy Disk Drive 26-3022

Appears to be a nice duel drive 26-3022/23 system with cable, controller and manual. Would be a nice duel system, specially for a grey, but would work with any CoCo. These drives are fairly rare, as well, so a 22/23 combo, complete could be collectible.

Rare Alert!:

A Full Turn of the Screw" Book Rainbow Tandy Coco 3

Tony DeStanfano's collection of Turn of the Screw projects from The Rainbow. Oh man, this is a good one, and it appears to be in great condition.

Some paks:

Kb8sfc

This fellow has some potentially collectible paks up for bid. I'd ask about combined shipping and try to win multiples, though. If you're in the market for 'em...

And some rather rare tapes:

bird-cage

I've bought from bird-cage before and never gone wrong. He's got some rather rare British tapes up for grabs that are well worth a look. I've been nothing but pleased with the Microdeal casettes. Plus he offers a full refund on anything found faulty. Good stuff!

Angel's Luck,
Capt.
